Frankie Kennedy Traditional Music Winter School

The Frankie Kennedy Traditional Music Winter School was established in memory of Frankie Kennedy who died in September of 1994. He was one of the best flute players in Ireland. He was also a member of the renowned group Altan.

The school is centered on the Gweedore Gaeltacht, a culturally rich area where Irish is the primary spoken language and the traditional customs are still very strong.
