FolkWorld is one of the biggest Internet magazines dedicated to European music traditions. Published in English and German, it features news, interviews and articles, concert and festival reports, a wide variety of CD reviews, columns and regular CD competitions. Among its contributors are folk music experts from around the world, yet with a clear focus in Europe.

FolkWorld has the structure of a traditional print magazine with an issue every two months or so, and gives the unique possibility to download each full issue as a zipped file. There is also a FolkWorld search engine and a large link listing for European folk music sites.
