Ashiko

Name: Ashiko - A cone-shaped drum of the Yoruba people (Nigeria) made with strips of wood placed next to one another and skinned with goat, antelope, or rarely with cow skin. It produces a resonant bass tone when struck in the middle, and a high tone when struck on the rim.
